1. World Hypertension Day (WHD) and May Measurement Month (MMM) 2025 were launched in May, with global activities led by ISH and partner organizations to promote hypertension awareness and control.
2. ISH representatives participated in the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) Meeting in Milan, discussing management of challenging blood pressure cases and bridging the gap between guidelines and clinical practice.
3. The ISH Europe Regional Advisory Group (RAG) convened in Milan, and the ISH Africa RAG presented new hypertension guidelines tailored for Africa.
4. ISH announced upcoming scientific meetings: Dubai in 2026 and Europe (in collaboration with ESH) in 2028.
5. ISH welcomed the World Health Organization’s resolution on kidney health, emphasizing the link between hypertension and kidney disease.
6. Various countries organized WHD events:
• China: Nationwide campaign with webinars and free health screenings.
• Canada: Blood pressure screenings for teenagers in pharmacies.
7. On May 25, 2025, the Japanese Circulation Society (JCS) became a National Member of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) and established a partnership with ISH.

8. The Jordanian Cardiac Society (JCS) became an official National Member of the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) on May 25, 2025, and established a partnership with ISH in May 17, 2025.
9. On May 29, 2025, the Jordan Cardiac Society (JCS) actively participated in a national scientific day dedicated to hypertension and atherosclerosis awareness, organized by the Jordanian Atherosclerosis and Hypertension Society (JAHS) at the Jordan Medical Association in Amman. The event brought together cardiologists, internists, and healthcare professionals to promote updated clinical practices and public education on cardiovascular risk.
