1-LUMA Vision, a company from Ireland and Germany, received FDA clearance for a new imaging catheter-based system called Verafeye Visualization Platform.
2-This system provides real-time 2D and 4D ultrasound images that helps improve heart imaging during complex heart procedures like treating arrhythmias , left atrial appendage closure and complex heart conditions .
3-The catheter gives a clear, 360-degree view up to 120 mm from the tip, helping doctors see the heart more accurately during procedures.
4-It also supports magnetic tracking and can work with other companies’ catheters.
5-Doctors say it marks a major step forward in heart imaging, making procedures safer and more precise.
6-First procedures using Verafeye were already done in Dublin, Ireland, showing great promise in real-life use.
