Objective<\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 To compare the risk of physical activity-related hypoglycaemia between once-weekly icodec and once-daily basal insulin.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>3. Methods<\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 Data from five phase 3 trials (ONWARDS 1\u20135) involving insulin-naive and insulin-experienced adults with type 2 diabetes.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 Participants self-reported hypoglycaemic events and their relation to physical activity.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>4. Results<\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 No consistent or significant differences in hypoglycaemia risk between the two insulin types.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 Most episodes were mild to moderate.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 Recurrent events were rare and no severe episodes were reported after physical activity.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>5.
