Doctors were divided into 4 groups:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 29% said cardiology is supportive and welcoming and nothing needs to change.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 33% said cardiology is supportive and welcoming, but some improvements are needed.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 19% felt the field is difficult and not welcoming and are unsure what to fix.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 18% felt the field is difficult, unfair and not welcoming and major changes are needed.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> 2. Problems experienced by doctors:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 45% treated badly<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 23% faced unfair treatment (discrimination)<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 19% emotional or physical harassment<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> \u2022 10% sexual harassment<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span> 3.
