Screening for lipids:
ESC/EAS recommends lipid screening from age ≥5 years if there is a family history of premature ASCVD.
Explanation: Risk-based screening is recommended from age ≥5 years in children with positive family history.
Screening from age ≥2 years is recommended if severe (homozygous) FH is suspected.
