SAGE-M-TEER Study: Sedation vs General Anesthesia in PASCAL M-TEER
• Compared sedation with general endotracheal anesthesia during mitral TEER using the PASCAL system.
• As experience grows, selected patients are increasingly treated with conscious sedation instead of “routine general anesthesia”.
• Sedation may reduce procedure burden, recovery time & intubation-related risks
