Inflammation: A Common Thread Across All Heart Failure Spectrum— POSEIDON Study
The multinational POSEIDON study showed that nearly 40% of heart failure patients have elevated inflammatory markers (hs-CRP ≥ 2 mg/L), with a remarkably similar prevalence across HFpEF, HFmrEF, and HFrEF. Findings support inflammation as a shared mechanism across the entire heart failure spectrum and raise interest in future anti-inflammatory therapeutic strategies.
